Pricing questions
What counts as an agent session?+
A session is one agent task grouped under a single sageros_session_id - no matter how many LLM calls, tool calls, or retries it contains. You are billed per session, not per request, so loops and retries never inflate your bill.
Does the semantic cache reduce my model costs?+
That is the goal. When a new prompt closely matches a cached one, Sageros is designed to serve the stored answer instead of calling the model - skipping the token cost and latency. Note: the semantic cache is in development, not live yet.
Can we run Sageros inside our own cloud?+
Not yet. Today Sageros runs as a cloud gateway, so your traffic passes through our infrastructure. Self-hosted deployment - a Sageros node inside your own network, where provider keys and raw prompts never leave your boundary - is on the roadmap. If that is a hard requirement for you, tell us and we will factor it into our timeline.
